Chinese Korean History Association

Founded in 1979, the Chinese Korean History Association (CKHA) is the only national academic organization in China dedicating to the research on the history of the Korean Peninsula. CKHA aims to promote the development of Korean history research and teaching in China, to establish and improve the academic system with Chinese characteristics, and to bring positive change to the educational and cultural interactions and mutual understanding between China and the Korean Peninsula.

 

Since its establishment, CKHA has organized nearly 30 academic conferences at home and abroad, which were highly praised by society and academia. 

 

CKHA publishes a scholarly journal named Study of Korean History since 1980. It serves as an influential platform to give publicity to the research of Korean Peninsula history in China. It enjoys great prestige at home and abroad, and has received keen attention from Chinese and international scholars.
