Mobilizing Meeting for the Project of “Database of October Revolution (1917)” Held in Beijing

　　On August the 20th, 2018, the mobilizing meeting for the Project of “Database of October Revolution (1917)” was held at IWH. Wangjing Rao (Vice President of IWH) organized the meeting. More than 20 staffs from library of CASS, members of the project group in IWH as well as deputies the undertaker (Tongfang Knowledge Network Ltd., Beijing) and supervisor (Kensagate Information System Consultant Ltd., Beijing) took part in the meeting.

　　Wangjing Rao concluded the meeting and pointed out that the construction of “Database of October Revolution (1917)” is significant and represents a positive attempt of constructing specialized databases according to the character of world history studies. Staffs of IWH are confident and competent to undertake the task. The next step is to investigate the demand of this database, ensure its academic quality, and pay serious attention to every detail of the project. He also called for the undertaker and supervisor of the project to cooperate, and make efforts to make “Database of October Revolution (1917)” one of the best informative projects in CASS.
