The Institute of World History Invited Professor Wang Lixin to Give an Academic Report

　　On September 18, 2020, Lixin Wang, Professor of the Department of History of Peking University, was invited by IWH to give an academic report entitled "Why the United States and the Soviet Union Moved from Cooperation to Confrontation: Rethinking the Origin of the Cold War and Its Lessons".

　　Professor Wang examined the process how the United States and the Soviet Union shifted from cooperation to confrontation in early stage of post-World War II, and analyzed the root causes of the cold war from the global, national and individual perspectives.
