The Second Forum of “The Frontier Issues of Western Historiography since the New Century” Held in Beijing

　　On 17 June 2017, the Second Forum of “The Frontier Issues of Western Historiography since the New Century” was co-hosted in Beijing by the CASS innovation project team of “Research of the Frontier Issues of Western Historiography since the New Century”, editorial department of Historiography Quarterlyand Historiography Research Center. About twenty experts attended the forum, who were from the Institute of World History of CASS, Tsinghua University, Sichuan University, Nanjing University, Xinyang Normal University, Chang’an University, Northeast Normal University, and Central South University.

　　Wu Ying, the chief researcher of this project team and the deputy editor of Historiography Quarterly, made a speech at the opening ceremony. There were four parts in the forum, respectively hosted by Researcher Jing Dexiang of Institute of World History, Professor He Ping of Sichuan University, Professor Mei Xueqin of Tsinghua University and Researcher Zhang Xupeng of Institute of World History.
