The Symposium on the 120th Anniversary of Chen Hansheng’s Birth and His Academic Thoughts Held in Beijing

　　On 20 May 2017, a symposium on the 120th Anniversary of Chen Hansheng’s Birth and His Academic Thoughts was held in Beijing. It was co-hosted by the Institute of World History, Institute of Modern History, Chinese International Culture Academy and Chen Hansheng World Political and Economic Research Center of Peking University. Academician Liao Xuesheng of CASS, the director of Institute of Modern History Wang Jianlang and the vice president of China Pacific Society Yang Suihua respectively made a speech at the opening ceremony, tracing Mr Chen Hansheng’s scholarship, introducing his academic achievements and influence, and hoping to carry forward his excellent working style. Jin Yilin, the vice director of Institute of Modern History, hosted the opening ceremony, and Wang Chaoguang, the vice director of Institute of World History, gave a summary talk and a closing speech.
