Lectures on “China the USA and the Middle East” Held by the Branch of Asian History, IWH

Professor Xiaolin Ma

    On June the 26th, 2017, the Branch of Asian History, Institute of World History invited Ambassador Huihou An and Professor Xiaolin Ma to give two lectures on “China the USA and the Middle East”.

    Researcher Shunhong Zhang (director of IWH) presented the two lectures and points out that the knowledge about the Middle East is crucial for us to understand the whole world and the history of the Middle East is important for us to understand world history. He also discussed the relationship between China and Iran with Ambassador Huihou An.

    Researcher Xuesheng Liao (former director and academician of IWH) also presented the lectures.

    Researcher Jiankang Bi (director of the Branch of Asian History, IWH) chaired the two lectures. About 20 members of Section of African, Asian and Latin American History and graduates presented the lectures.
