Professor Xinru Liu on Methodology of Natural Science in Historical Research

    On July the 11th, 2017, Section of Interdisciplinary Studies, IWH invited Professor Xinru Liu (department of history, New Jersey, the USA) to give an academic lecture on “Methodology of Natural Science in Historical Research”. More than 20 scholars from Section of Interdisciplinary Studies, Section and Ancient and Medieval History, Section of African, Asian and Latin American History and Renmin University presented the lecture.

    Professor Xinru Liu focused on three popular historical issues at home and abroad, and introduced methods of natural science adopted by scholars in these studies. Her lecture cites the latest research findings from 2010 to 2017 at home and abroad and is very informative. The lecture is valuable for the audience to learn about the academic front.
