“Investigation of 100 Counties (Cities, Districts)” by the Team of IWH in Binzhou City

　　On June the 25-29th, 2018, the investigation team of IWH, CASS (9 members) paid a visit to Binzhou City (former Bin County), Shaanxi Province. The investigation team was led by Suyue Wang ((CPC committee secretary of IWH). Xiaoju Wang, Hong Sun, Wenxian Wang, Hongzheng Bao, Zilin Guo, Houliang Lu, Shiping Xu and Jinghong Shen took part in the investigation.

　　The activity belongs to the “Investigation of 100 Counties (Cities, Districts)” of CASS in response of the instruction of Jinping Xi (general secretory of CPC) to encourage investigations around China in CPC and celebrating the 40th anniversary of the reform and open up of China. The team chose the key-note of “Meeting the Increasing Demand of Common People for A Better Life by the Construction of Ecological Civilization”. The members went around Binzhou City and its suburb to investigate issues such as the city’s coordination of the economic, cultural and ecological constructions, and its project of providing a civilized homeland for residents, entrepreneurs and tourists.

　　During this investigation, the team members witnessed the glorious history of people of Binzhou City from poverty in 1980s to getting rid of poverty in 2000s, then to the foundation of a prosperous city in 2018. They also gained knowledge of ancient Binzhou as “the first stop of the Silk Road westward” and its rich agricultural civilization, enriched their understanding of today’s China, as well as improved their interaction with common people of their motherland.
