Symposium on the Construction of “The Belt and Road” Held in Beijing

　　On June the 10th, 2019, the symposium on the construction of “The Belt and Road” was held by Society of Elderly Scholars, CASS and Chinese Academy of International Culture together in Beijing. Over 20 scholars and staffs, including veteran cadres of CASS and staffs and experts from Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres, Institute of World History (IWH) and Institute of World Economics and Politics took part in the symposium.

　　Researcher Yongquan Li (former president of Institute of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, CASS), Researcher Wen Li (former associate president of Institute of the USA, CASS), Researcher Li Xue (Institute of World Economics and Politics， CASS) and Associate Researcher Wei Zhang (IWH, CASS) delivered speeches on the “Belt and Road Initiative” and its achievements.

　　After the speeches, the participants of the symposium discussed the relevant questions about the practice of the “Belt and Road Initiative” and their observations as well as their advice.
