Academic Lecture on “From New Cultural History to Russian Studies: Transition and Reflection of Russian History Studies” by Professor Jianhua Zhang

　　On July 2nd, 2021, Professor Jianhua Zhang, School of History, Beijing Normal University, was invited to deliver an academic lecture entitled “From New Culture History to Russian Studies: Transition and Reflection of Russian History Studies” in the Institute of World History.

　　Professor Zhang explained the relation between Russian historiography and literature, and pointed out that “Russian studies” was a methodology, and was becoming an ontological goal, and thus the concept of “Russian world” had been produced, which provided ideological resources for the Russian version of globalization program.
