Academic Lecture on “Frontier Issues in Central and Eastern European Studies”

　　On December 4th, 2020, Gang Xu, Associate Research Fellow of the Institute of Russian, Eastern European and Central Asian Studies, CASS, was invited to deliver an online lecture on “Frontier Issues in Central and Eastern European Studies”. This academic activity was held by the Department of Russian and Central Asian History, IWH.

　　Xu focused on the essential and frontier issues in current research on Central and Eastern Europe. Also, he discussed the China-CEEC relations in a period of major change that’s rarely concerned in a century; especially in the context of major relations between China and Europe, China and Russia, and China and the United States, he specified that China and CEEC countries played their own roles respectively in diplomatic work.
