Department of Global History

Established in 2019, the department of Global History now has 5research scholars, including 2 research fellows, 1 associate research fellow and 2 research assistants. We have published 9 books, 5 translation monographs and more than 150 articles.

Our short-term goal is tokeep close eyes on academic frontiers of global history both at home and abroad and keep in touch with scholars in different fields. Our medium-term goal is to explore the development of human society from simple forms to complex manifestations, so asto get a better understanding ofthe relationshipsbetweennatureand nurture, individuals and society, mind and body, and to contributehistorical perspectiveto the future. The long-term goal is to build a high-level research team and write OUR global history.

The department hopes to strengthen the cooperation and exchange with colleagues in and outside the country. Wesincerely welcomeyoung talents who are interested in the study of the global history to join us.
